The biggest reason that the dangers on
diet pills exist is that they are not really regulated. The law does
not require a diet pill to be tested by the FDA before release to the
public. The FDA will pull a diet pill product from the shelves if it
shows to be dangerous, but by then you may already be taking that
particular drug. So what are the side effects that can result from this
lack of regulation? |

Saturday can be the worst enemy for our waistlines and those who exercise for weight loss, according to researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. The investigators report their findings in the advance online publication of the journal Obesity. read more Publ.Date : Tue, 01 Jul 2008 11:01:44 -0500
The New England Journal of Medicine has just come out with perhaps the most definitive comparison of low-fat, Mediterranean and low-carb diets ever, and the findings dovetail very nicely with what we’ve been discussing here recently about the merits of the Primal Blueprint. I think it also addresses some of the concerns shared about the so-called “restrictiveness” of my PB plan. read more Publ.Date : Wed, 16 Jul 2008 20:11:05 -0500
